Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and pure life.

1 Timothy 4:12

ARISE is a youth group that is geared towards those students who are in Grades 10-12 and is also open to the recently graduated and young adults. ARISE is dedicated to aiding in the faith formation of our senior youth.

During the school year (September - June) Arise meets at Assumption Parish Hall, in Lethbridge, AB.  We meet each Fridays and begin the evenings at 3:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm. at Assumption Church. Our focus is community and fellowship.  Our goal is to instill the moral teachings of the Catholic church by creating a community of believers who speak openly in a safe environment. Our evenings typically follow a plan which center around, lessons (Theology of the Body, The Bible), service projects (visiting the elderly, making crafts)  recreation (baseball, gym activities) and Adoration (praising our Lord while singing and praying silently).

Arise is a Catholic high school youth program for grades 10-12. Its a time for fellowship, friendship, games, laughter, prayer, praise and authenticity. I hope to make it the highlight of your week. As you'll learn and understand the aspects of the faith that YOU want to talk about with open conversations and the opportunity to encounter true authenticity of how to strive in being the best version of yourself. We will grow in loving who we are in the image and likeness of God, and get to have a ridiculous amount of fun and adventures together in doing so.
"God sends us friends to be our firm support in the whirlpool of struggle. In the company offriends we will find strength to attain our sublime ideal. " -St Maximilion Kolbe
"Try to laugh a lot, because life is funny, and everybody today is too serious. The only tragedy in the world, my friend, is sin. " -Mother Angelica
