Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and pure life.

1 Timothy 4:12

ARISE is a youth group that is geared towards those students who are in Grades 10-12 and is also open to the recently graduated and young adults. ARISE is dedicated to aiding in the faith formation of our senior youth.

During the school year (September - June) Arise meets at Assumption Parish Hall, in Lethbridge, AB.  We meet each Monday and begin the evenings at 6:30 pm and end at 8:30 pm. Our focus is community and fellowship.  Our goal is to instill the moral teachings of the Catholic church by creating a community of believers who speak openly in a safe environment. Our evenings typically follow a plan which center around, lessons (Theology of the Body, The Bible), service projects (visiting the elderly, making crafts)  recreation (baseball, gym activities) and Adoration (praising our Lord while singing and praying silently).

“I like going to Arise because I feel like I belong whenever I go, people are always nice to me, willing to listen to me, and I enjoy the talks because they help people build faith, especially those who haven't quite found it yet :)”
-Darren MacNeil Grade 12
